@Zylo-
As you draw an instant or sorcery with miracle, if it's the first card you've drawn this turn, you can immediately reveal it. When you do so, you may cast it for its miracle cost. It doesn't matter whether it's an instant or sorcery; if you choose to cast it, you do so right away, even if it's at a time (such as your draw step) when you couldn't normally cast it. You're not required to reveal a miracle card, even if you could pay for it. You can always choose to just draw it as normal.
You're allowed to cast the first card you draw each turn if it has miracle, so if you find ways to draw cards during your opponent's turn, you get another chance for a game-breaking, miraculous moment.

This has to be my favorite sorcery ever printed in magic. This card is just insane. Paying 5 mana for two 4/4 angels is pretty good and even later in the game when you have more mana out you can entreat for 5 or 6. This card is an absolute game ender

It doesn't seem too miraculous to draw a Miracle card as the first draw of your turn; just jam your deck full of Miracle cards and suddenly you're Jesus. I got crushed by this card two games in a row after it got drawn three times "miraculously"... he didn't need anything else but counter and exile. Pretty easy to build a deck around. But who needs deck-building skills when you're Jesus?

Excellent in control decks. Control your opponent until you get 7+ mana, manipulate the top draw, miracle this then if they don't have a board wipe you can swing for 20+

17 counterspells in Standard, 2 of which exile the spell.
Other good ways to deal with it Slaughter Games, Ætherize, Sever the Bloodline and the really funny one, Reverberate.
5/5 from me. I'm in no way saying it's crappy, just that this is far from unanswerable. The standard environment right now is filled with counters, graveyard hate, exile effects (from the graveyard) and instant speed library mill.

I feel like a lot of people rated this down because they get their @$$£$ kicked by it.
5/5 all day.

What really gets me about this card is that it's practically never a dead spell. Even when hardcast for anything more than X=1, this is above the curve; for 1, it's a slightly less splashable Serra Angel without vigilance, which can still come in handy. When it's miracled, it's so far above the curve that it ceases to exist.

Does anyone realize that the artist for this card, Todd Lockwood, is also the primary artist for Drizz't Do'Urden? Not sure how many of you guys have read the Forgotten Realms, but the art for it is amazing. Love this guy, and this card.
