sadly, (at least in my meta) it doesn't see much standard play, since if you can make it to 5 you can play most of your win cons already. thragtusk, for example. Control decks often have either better 5 drops, can stall long enough to not need the ramp, or use farseek since it can be reused with snapcaster or simply played once or early to mid game to fix the mana base. I really like this card, i just wish it was more viable right now. Maybe i'm not doing it right..

Lotus can give 3 mana each time Zealous uses 2 to exile and return giving infinite mana to take control of all your stuff, and on their turn take control of all their permanents as well. Enjoy

so basically it's Thran Dynamo but for one more in CMC it produces whatever color mana i want. yea, it's that powerful. the only way this doesn't come out better is if it's a card that you can only use colorless mana to cast.
