I'm buying a foil, and making a EDH deck with him. This guy is way too cool for school.

The Defiler was strong, but you had to build the deck with his effects in mind.

The Lord of Riots, any artifact creature and/or high casting cost creature gets better, the more damage you do.

It's positive reinforcement, with pain.

Perfect Rakdos mentality.

Card of the Day: December 10th, 2012
When I first saw this card I thought "Holy crap, holy crap holy crap."
Then afterwards, I realized the drawback kind of does balance this guy out, at least compared to other stuff like Geist of Saint Traft.
The only qualms I have with this card now are its art. Where is Rakdos' head? What is going on in the art? Where are those flames coming from? Could be improved imo.

Mind blows up from trying to comprehend the absurdity of this card. I don't see any possible downside, period. The only thing that could make this worse was if firebolt was still in standard. My mind is currently broken.
