Good card but the regen cost should have been lower.

I think this is a very good card even if there was a version previous that was better.
It's a 3/2 for 2 mana. That's GREAT!
Sprinkle some regen on top. Not, oh, it's so expensive for 3 mana. It is A BONUS. 3 mana for regen is still a reasonable price.
Even though you need a swamp for the +1/+1 effect he's gonna be usually run in black/red anyway just by how he's built

Very nice in limited, which is where regeneration seems to shine the brightest.
