what kind of jerk would actually play this versus a friend? "Wanna play?" "Sure, play your blue deck!"

Horrible, if not playing against blue, it's useless, and if playing against blue, it just makes your friends stop playing with you. Think whether this is worth it before you play this.

Yea, the old color hate cards completely lacked any subtlety or strategy. They were all basically "X color deck loses the game". White was the worst offender with cards like Justice, Karma, and the circles of protection. My friends and I never used them, and they are the reason that the concept of sideboarding still seems lame to me even though today's sideboard cards are a lot more fair.
On the other hand, if you run stuff like this in your main deck along with stuff like Sleight of Mind or Magical Hack, that is okay, if a bit cheap.

You may get your mono blue friend once with this, but after that, you just know he's going to buy 4 Magical Hacks.

Sadly, not errata'd to be a Curse.
Play this plus Blood Moon to really lock down blue.
Or you could just play Contamination and lock out red, blue, white, and green...

For the record, the art is not abstract and is instead highly representational.
