I just want to say that this can work decently in a fun reanimation/self-mill deck centered around Sutured Ghoul. You can put this guy on the graveyard because of it's high power/toughness, or if you drew it and have enough creatures on your graveyard, you can just cast it.
By all means not it's best use, but if someone already has a Sutured Ghoul deck, why not give this guy a shot :P (if you also run green in it ofc, Golgari/Dredge comes to mind)

I get the feeling that Ghoultree is going to seriously enjoy the presence of Rancor in standard...

I've only got one in my deck so far, but used Ghoultree against my opponent's mill deck. He used a card which put half of my library in my graveyard as a last ditch effort to avoid defeat. Ghoultree was in my hand. I paid 1 mana for him and won. ;D

Good Body, more than reasonable cost, tribal support, and an ability that let's it lower it's already cheap cost? How is this less than 4.5/5?

nothing beats the feeling of casting a 10/10 for in mid-late game..if you're running a self mill UG deck, you can have this out on the 3rd or 4th turn if your luck is good; even if you dont win with it, it'll easily hold it's own against most fatties until Splinterfright or Boneyard Wurm gets massive. 4/5

I prefer Essence Harvest myself, 10dd and 10 life for 3 then attack and (Hulk) smash through their defense. Also since its obviously going to be a target so Death's Presence is a fantastic backup.
