The rules text on this card may well be the best flavor text ever printed.

Oh, if only they weren't getting rid of the Tribal type, this could have came back every turn with Unholy Grotto...
Zombie Apocalypses for everyone!

The Human-destroying is gravy. Getting all your dead stuff back is what matters. Also, there's a reason why Grimgrin is there behind it. If you use this with Grimgrin in your graveyard, you can easily sac one of your zombies to untap him.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the best card in the set.
Oh, it's too expensive to be constructed-worthy? Pish-posh!
Oh, it's not an instant, therefore it is bad? Fiddlesticks!
Oh, "Destroy All Humans" is too narrow? Bollocks, I say!
I exhibit my counter to these disingenuous assertions:
The card's name is Zombie Apocalypse.
ZOMBIE.
APOCALYPSE.
I rest my case.

Grimgrin is way at the back because he's sad that he has to come back tapped.
