I had a panic attack when I first saw this - I misread the mana cost as {3}{W}{U} and thought this was a super-Baneslayer. Fortunately, it's not actually broken - just a good card that turns into a great card with some thoughtful deckbuilding.

Holy crapp. This is insane! Evasion, double strike (massive boost on pumping), draw two cards when he hits? And gain lots of life?!?
5/5

Cast the spirit lord first (Drogskol Captain) and you have a vengeful killing machine
I wonder if this is one the side of good due to his mana colours

@Zenzei: You mean CMC. The capital letter "C" in terms of the mana cost of a card refers to any generic color cost. For instance, "1C 2/2 creatures are often called "bears" after the 1G Grizzly Bears even though they're not green or bears." You're talking about the converted mana cost of expensive White cards you like, and converted mana cost is CMC. There's no such thing as "converted cost," which you're using CC for.
This card is sweet, but not as crazy as players were worried it was going to be when spoiled. I'm not sure if I've even seen any players running it. I totally would, but the only deck I have that's White/Blue is a Rafiq of the Many deck that only wants Rafiq to be attacking, and without enough other life gain cards, Drogskol doesn't draw you enough cards by sitting back and blocking. I'd love to see him in play.

Nice finisher for Blue-White control if Traft fails to show up.

@card
What's that Lassie? Grand Arbiter Augustin IV fell down the well? Again?
You know what? **** it. Go tell Stormscape Familiar, Nightscape Familiar, and Thornscape Familiar to drag his sorry *** out. And if he complains, tell 'em to go stuff a Quicksilver Amulet down his throat!
Can you do that for me, Lassie? Yes? Good dog!!! You're such a GOOD dog! Yes you ARE!
(What's that Lassie? I forgot Sunscape Familiar? Silly dog, Sunscape Familiar is a Wall! How could it drag anything, let alone Grand Arbiter Augustin IV? How absurd!)
@NecroticNobody
With Sword of War and Peace
First hit = 5, gain 5 life
Draw a card (1), then let War and Peace resolve for X(+1) life and Z damage, draw a card (2)
Second hit = 5, gain 5 life
Draw a card (3), then let War and Peace resolve for X(+3) life and Z da... (see all)

Got this beauty in a trade alongside a Mayor of Avabruck, Wolfbitten Captive, and an Increasing Savagery. Also pulled two from booster packs. Goes wonderfully with the ever-useful Umezawa's Jitte, allwoing me to gain 14 life and draw 6 cards in a single run.

I would never run Kraken's Eye or any of those gain 1 life 2-drop artifacts. If you want to do that go ahead then!
He's powerful but he's still a 7-drop. There's 4 powerful 7-drops already and only Elesh-Norn gets regularly played due to her immediate and massive impact on the field.

I would've assumed this card has deathtouch judging from the art, instead, this thing has everything besides deathtouch.
