Knowing my luck with boosters, I only get 1 mythic per fatpack I've bought since New Phyrexia and I sincerely wanted this to be my mythic rare pull when I bought the DKA fatpack.
Guess what, I did.

I know it's beefy and costs so much. But he ficts PERFECTLY in my reanimator deck.

Mechanically interesting, flavor is a complete and utter mess. Why does a mad ghost in a cage grant you cards for gaining life? How does he had double strike or lifelink, for that matter? If he's seeking souls, why does he have nothing relating to exile or bouncing creatures, like WU might normally have for imprisonment?
Messy, boring mythic. *yawn*

I drew this guy at the prerelease. Oh man. Just built around him and Manor Gargoyle, and I Cackling Counterparted him so many times, it happened every third game. And the abilities trigger each other, so even when they were blocked I drew four.

A really solid foundation with this card. So my complaints go towards the art not being on par with it. Also I would of like it to have better evasion or hexproof it is a pretty investment for UW which can usually easily go towards somethign else. Still great card and really amazing for my game type Limited. Imagine getting this and Drogskol Captain or couple it in a U/W deck that has the dreaded combo that already wins games alone Ivisible stalker and Butcher's Cleaver .

I'm not really a blue player, but still I think 7 cmc is too much for this card. I can see that when he goes into the red you normally get to draw 2 cardsconsecrated sphinx is much better for as long as it remains in standard, of which is 8 months.

This guy is one to watch.
He may seem overcosted, but he's easy to turn into a card advantage MONSTER.
Expect to see him in some Control decks when Consecrated Sphinx rotates out,
and he may very well be the centerpiece of a new Modern/Legacy lifegain deck.
I'm not saying that deck will be top tier, I'm just saying it's looking stronger now.
I could also see him showing up in Spirit decks alongside Call to the Kindred.
