I'm assuming his ability will still trigger if you Unsummon him?

This could potentially do a lot of damage in an Eye of the Storm deck...

This guy and Hidden Strings is ridiculous. Also, alongside Goblin Electromancer and any burn spells, things quickly get out of hand.
I was playing my friend, had 6 life, 3 available mana, this guy and an electromancer. Friend had a 6/6 flier and was on 20 life.
I won thanks to this guy, Hidden Strings, flashing back a Think Twice and playing the rest of my cards out :D

The one time this card backfired on me:
My UR Niv-Mizzet EDH deck had this on the field against my girlfriend's Michiko EDH deck with Michiko on the field.
I couldn't cast an instant or sorcery without sacrificing a permanent :\

If you're running burn or Izzet, it's almost stupid not to play this gentleman and his evil cousin Young Pyromancer

@frozone: Reverberate, same as most spell copying effects, doesn't actually cast anything extra. Guttersnipe only triggers with cast spells, not copies.
@legoman4000: Yes, his ability triggers when you cast Unsummon, and he's not removed from the battlefield until the spell resolves. He'll deal the damage in that case.
I had a similar question: would his ability trigger when he was sacrificed to cast Goblin Grenade? A judge answered on a forum that it wouldn't trigger, as he was removed from the battlefield as a part of the spellcasting process, before triggers are evaluated.

Can make even the simplest of burn decks very scary.
