@Totema

There are what we call "limited" formats, draft and sealed. Some cards, especially ones at common, are designed with these formats in mind. It's not uncommon to see reprints of things like this, Naturalize, or Angel's Mercy so that players have access to certain basic functions and effects for each color.

Seriously? Why is Wizards so fond of reprinting cards that were literally in the previous set? At least this finally got new artwork, and it's pretty nice to boot.

Always happy to see, and really digging the new art. Gonna have to get these to replace the ones in my discard deck (I play them cause my friends wont let me use Hymn to Tourach)

Complete waste of art here when it could have been used on a WhiteBlack Orzhov card (something akin to Castigate maybe). Instead they put it on this... which really shouldn't have been reprinted for the umpteenth time when we have strictly better cards like Stupor in existence.

It annoys me that all these cards don't have the proper guild watermarks on them.

How about this for a new take on this tired old spell: Same cost, "Target player discards a card at random then discards a card."

So here's another garbage common that's been printed and reprinted more times than I can remember. Unfortunately, unlike Giant Growth, this card requires a specific deck to play it with--a deck that most people won't want to be playing in this block. Just remember when opening this up a dozen times when cracking boosters--you could have had a Goblin Electromancer.

This is some great new artwork for one of the best discard spells of all time. Pros like me would be happy if Mind Rot was reprinted in every set.

I love the core set reprints in Return to Ravnica. I'd like to see it continued in Gatecrash. What do you think good candidates might be?

Pacifism seems easy enough.
Shock?
Craterize?
Naturalize?

I don't see many m13 creatures making the jump, though, as functional creature reprints can show off settings and guilds so easily.
