Love the flavor! Seems like a win-more card tho.

filibuster counters should have had "remove a filibuster counter from Azor's Elocutors: prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to you this turn" It would have made Elocuters a much much better card, and more flavorful.

Do i sense some political statement there, Wizards?
However, sadly IRL filibustering will usually get you nowhere.

@ Goatllama
I see what you did there
Otherwise what if you could get this into your graveyard, bring out a spirit token copy with Seance, Populate it with Rootborn Defenses, and make it Hexproof with Drogskol Captain, and then make your first Drogskol Captain Hexproof with a second Drogskol Captain. Then you could stall the game with Sphere of Safety and Martial Law...

Turbofog seems better now, but I don't think it is stable with the loss of Rites of Flourishing

WotC seems to have intended to cycle out those proliferating cards at Scars of Mirrodin block.
Just imagine what would happen in Standard if SoM block is still here.

This just gave my Gwafa Hazid deck a new win condition, and I love it.

Palisade Giant makes for good cover. Then drop Dovescape.

Novice like me says that humans make the best availers and this card has no expectations. This dude is a real fun guy, but I would not want him to speak for me! In my home land, game loses you.
