No it would stop the damage from terra stomper because it has protection from green.
Protection means that it prevents the damage means it would stop the creature from being able to do da,age in general.

This card was originally called Spirit Lynx. However, since it didn't have the "Spirit Link" ability (now called lifelink) and development did not want to add it to the card, the name was changed at the last minute.
