Of all the magic cards, this card is without a doubt the card which is the most fun to play. There are literally hundreds of different ways a deck can be built around this card. It works great with any card which has a fun or powerful ability when it comes into play: Man-o'-War, Uktabi Orangutan, Trinket Mage, Wall of Blossoms,Mulldrifter etc.
Or any card which requires sacrifice: Recurring Nightmare,Ball Lightning, Claws of Gix, Hell's Caretaker, etc.
Alternatively this card works fantastically with creatures which are not always useful to have in play. Take Realm Razer or Peacekeeper for example. Play them each turn and sacrifice them at the end of your opponent's turn.
In fact this card can be combined with cards other than creatures. With cards like au... (see all)

Remembrance, this card, and a sac engine. Elvish Piper is a miracle worker, Eureka 2nd, Hypergenesis if you must.
