Scry 6 is stronger, but this is still a good utility creature.
Example, you scry 1 and find the card you want to keep. Then scry 2 and find another good card under it. Then scry 3 and ditch the junk card under both of them.
Scry 6 you would see the two good cards on top, and dig 4 deeper throwing out the trash.

This name is a pun (I think/hope). Annelid is the latin name for the phylum more commonly known as earthworms and it is a worm beast. I also get analysis (which cone of scrying certainly does) from the name. Perhaps that is just me though.

@RunedServitor: That's because Annelids (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annelid) are a phylum of animals that have traditionally been called "worms", alongside nematodes.
