From all of us here who play Pauper, we thank you WotC. And not just for our lovely new duals, but for making Standard Pauper a format on MTGO as well. It's a beautiful time to play Pauper! It's no secret I love Pauper, and as such I rated all the guildgates at 5 stars simply because of how much they will help us. And it's really not only Pauper, because now there are finally good, cheap duals for any format.
Now we just need common Shocklands. I kid, I kid.

It does come into play tapped, but pros like me will take advantage of this card being a gate. Gates combo with stuff.

Idk, seems like a win-more card to me.

Azorius: the ugliest building type in Ravnica. Still, loads more beautiful then most of the other lands that come out in sets not based on an enumecopolis (a city that covers a planet)
More then ever I'm interested on what the worldmap of this plane looks like. Only three planes in the history of Magic have ever been detailed, Serra's Sanctum, Dominaria, and Innestrad. I can only hope Innestrad was an example they plan to follow.

Ignore the trolls, these cards are absolute GARBAGE! Come into play tapped is a strict minus and almost never worth fixing your manabase for, unless they print some good support for gates, these are a very very poor mans shocklands if you think otherwise you are lying to yourself.
Thanks wizards, keep on reminding why I haven't played magic in a long long time. Corrupt A** holes

Works nice with an Amulet of Vigor on your board.

Lands like this are great for Peasant and Pauper, and that's certainly worth something. However, the fact that Wizards of the Coast insists on making common and uncommon dual lands strictly worse than the rare ones (and let's be honest: the Gate type only makes it not strictly worse than Hallowed Fountain only in the most technical of senses, because there are almost no Gate-related cards of notable power) is an issue. I don't like to use the "pay-to-win" phrase, but considering how many games are lost to mana problems, one is tempted to start asking questions. It's rather strange that Magic players haven't asked those questions en masse, ever.
