for mana, you get 5 life, and you, most imporantly, recycle your graveyard.
In white, (THE LIFE-GAINING COLOUR), you could've just gained 5 life using mana (Whitesun's Passage, Soothing Balm). That's it. No graveyard reshuffling.
To do that, you needed a Feldon's Cane. Not only that, but this reshuffles itself into your deck. The cane exiles itself.
Doesn't that just blow your mind? It can combine two cards into one card, does the job better than the reshuffler, and doesn't have a colour. Holy!
Also, @ Enemy_Tricolor/Salient, PLEASE don't convince Wizards to make a Return to Homelands set. I don't want to see Sea Troll getting a reprint.

Oh god... People thinking that, if they make a "Return to Homelands" or "Return to Kamigawa", they would fill the set with everything went wrong the first time annoys me like no others. Ferlord, I'm talking to you.
PLEASE don't convince Wizards to make a Return to Homelands set. I don't want to see Sea Troll getting a reprint.
How can you have such a stupid idea?
Maybe they print a second cycle of Eidolon, in the Return to Ravnica? Please, stop this sh!tty kind of though... It's because of you that Wizards wouldn't even think about it!
Acutally, I would like to see one of the two, expecially the Kamigawa one!
For the card: I think it's quite useful. Agains mill it can reshuffle your graveyard, agains aggro it can buy you some time. Versatile and affective. I have to buy a playset...
However, for gaining life, I prefer something that gives me card advantage, like Bottle Gnomes, or something that keeps gain me li... (see all)

If you combo this card right, you really can become immortal with all that lifegain.

They really need new flavor text on this thing. Vampires commenting on this is just...dumb. They have nothing to do with it, they're already dead.

Not to mention this card saves you from decking yourself out with cards like Momentous Fall or Murder of Crows.

Holy crap, I just realized they've revived Baron Sengir from Homelands. I never noticed or paid any attention to the byline, figuring it was Sorin Markov.
So is there any chance we'll see a reprint of Baron Sengir?

Basically a giant foam middle finger to mill decks.

This thing is soooo sweet! I run a playset in a self mill human reanimator deck. Mill, reanimate your creatures and then pop this off to get all the land and spell you milled in the process. Plus, running so many keeps my life up while I'm waiting to bring back some fatty from the yard.
