Goes with training grounds. Seriously though this is a total design failiure. A 1/1 that gives itself optional landwalk lacks synergy of any type. 1B for a 1/1 isn't so bad though, especially back then so I'll give it.... yah I'm still giving it .5

This is a very good card, actually. Black mana often has ways up pumping up a monster for one turn, such as Howl from beyond. Just before your opponent's turn ends, spend 5 to make this unblockable. Then it's your turn and those 5 lands untap and can be used on the nasty slug-strengthening card.

Good god. This is absolutely AWFUL.

Speaking as a Worldwake guy, though, this is suddenly looking better when it seems as if I might win only the 20th turn or so!

Two Training Grounds + Blood Moon + Hatred + four Diabolic Tutors + Vampiric Link + this. Backed with control + creature removal.

That might do it. BlackBlueRed manabase might be little shaky when you do not dare use many non-basic lands. Bad card.

1Black + 5 every turn just for 1 damage? No thanks. That's worse than Razor Boomerang — at least that only costs 100 instead of 1001Black to win!

why snail more snail
1- Snail is so much heavy and strong. if snail does not kill you he can hit you with it. weight is a sign of reliability.
2- the slug got evict from shell because he is poor.
3- slug get crush easy, snail shell get crush, snail crawl away to find another. it is like having 1up.
4- shell is more stronger than no shell
5- snail evolve shell out of itself, internal slug shell is copy of superior snail technology.
6- your sexy little sister lift up her skirt when she see snail.
7- if you trow snail at wall, wall will catch snail and happy.
8- trow both on water and see wich can breth underwater which has surfase for air
over 9000- snail at mate will find a quiet leaf or hotel, slug is brazen hussy
10- snail is hermaphroditte ***et becaus he hate biches only care for monie
11- snail is nail with curve added. slug is fake monie because he is poor.
12- snail only feast on finest foods, snail is coinesseur.
13- slug is 100000 years undeevolve, only survive because a... (see all)
