In contrast to the ugly Future Sight version of this card (ugly frame, so-so art), this version is easily one of the most beautiful MtG card. The art is superbe... on a beautiful modern frame... with the Forest symbol and no text to be seen, and the power/toughness indicator in the bottom right.
Beautifully simple and simply beautiful.
I used to hate this card and would dumb it down to a Forest that is extremely vulnerable to removal. But in the right decks, it is powerful.

A play I'd like to try at least once: On turn 1, play a Forest, then cast Green Sun's Zenith where X is 0, and fetch this. Practical? Not unless I have nothing better, and even then only in a casual game. But elegant? You bet.
@Ideatog: Which is why I would put this on the field with my creatures. Even if it looks like a land, it's also a creature and should be grouped with them. And if you have trouble teaching the concept of the mana pool, comparing it to money in a bank is a pretty simple way to get the point across.

how is this a mythic rare now? It was uncommon in Future Sight, and I hardly think it's awesome enough to be regular rare, not to mention mythic.

The simplest combos with this gal are the best. Protean Hulk's death not only fetches you a few cool creatures but can pull every single one of these out of your deck on top of it...

Call me a weirdo, but I like the Future Sight border, art, and text box aesthetic over this copy. This card is easier to confuse with a Basic Forest, causing misplays. Besides, half of what was special about this card was the border it was printed in.

Who doesn't like watching couples make out in the woods?
But this has many uses: chump blocker, sac fodder, and maybe even make it fly? A flying tree nymph would be freakish.

I prefer the Future Sight frame, but I love this art. It's a land and a creature, with the weaknesses of both. Best way I can think to play it is with something instant speed to drop a land into play, either to block or to get around summoning sickness.

I still wish they'd make another land creature only a 0/3 and it's a treefolk.
