I hate to say it, but this art does not feature some awesome bird-headed fish-bodied spawn of Awesome deflecting incoming damage with the powers of Metal. Check out the thumbs. He's flashing "I love you" in sign language. This is some Age of Aquarius hippie at dawn using the all-conquering power of love to resist the powers of hate and fear and prejudice. That might be cool, but it's not metal, or even rock, and I'd rather play...something else and boost my creature to either kill the incoming threat, or live anyway.

Haters gonna...something.
