Well, it enters the battlefield tapped. That's a drawback. (It pales to the awesomeness of the rest of the card, though.)

The first time I looked at this I didn't see the "tapped" constraint and thought that it was just crazy. Then I saw the tapped thing and gave it 5/5.

I think Strip Mine might be better. Might. Might not, too. Vesuva is definitely going to be a staple of Land collections for years to come, and deserves to be vaulted because I don't think even later sets will make a better land to outshine it. (As may well happen with some of the other cards in the box)
