Actually a great multiplayer card. If someone's getting out of control, you can convince everyone else to cover for you while you use the Door to boot them out.

This version is strictly worse than its Mirrodin one because the Flavor Text is different :/
Still, this is an amazing casual card and I'm happy it got reprinted

Combos with Arbor Elf,Freed from the Real and Forest. Possible fourth turn win... Then again, infinite mana with anything will destroy.

Has anyone mentioned voltaic key or its mana hungry cousin galvanic key? I love it for the flavor if nothing else, because what else would you use to open a door?

According to Maro, this was originally worded as "Destroy target creature or player" until the rules team said you can't do that!

Compared to another Double WUBRG game winner, Progenitus...
Pros:
-Destroys immediately, regardless of lifegain, damage negation, and pretty much anything else
-Dodges most mass removal (like Wrath of God)
Cons:
-5 more mana in total cost
-Does nothing until activation (Progenitus is more versatile as it can both attack and block)
-Harder to play (requires mana, while Progenitus can be cheated into play relatively easily)
-Easily destroyed by any artifact hate
-Beware of Willbender
