Last Wednesday I was participating in a modern tournament down at my local card shop. I was running a Goblin deck, my opponent was running tamagoyph(?) with snapcaster mages and and other graveyard shenanigans. He even had aether vials down at the start.
I got him down to 3 life and i was at 5. He wiped the board. im my hand i have reverberate. I draw Koth of the Hammer. I cast him and my opponent casts cryptic command. I reverberate it countering the command and drawing me a lightning bolt. which i threw at his face for the win.

No, you have to select a target before you cast this. Though you could cast a second reverberate targeting the first one, getting an infinite loop of copies. Thats different from casting spells so its not going to help grapeshot or dragon's claw.

Can somebody please answer this question.
We know copies of spells increased by X amt are copied exactly, but what about spells pumped by the number of lands you control.
If a spell does damage based on the number of swamps an opponent controls (not pumped by X) and you control no swamps, but apply reverberate. Will it do the amount of damage your opponent was going to do to you or 0 damage?

The amusing thing about this card? Fork, the card it's based on, is on the reserved list. The only reason this card was allowed to see print was because it didn't make the copy red, which keeps it from being a functional reprint.
In other words, this card is basically R&D giving the finger to the reserved list. Thank goodness; the fact that we went without Fork for so long because of stupid collectors is unbelievably annoying.

Use Wort, the Raidmother to get triple spell, or even quadruple if you use conspire the spell you targeted in the first place

Am I the only one who gets kicks out of Reverberating Browbeats? Come on red lovers, "You got three choices, take 10 damage for 5 mana, or I draw 6 cards for 5 mana, or take 5 damage and I draw 3 cards for 5 mana, Decisions, decisions..."
Browbeat is voted by my brother and I as the best red card in the game, but this is a VERY close second!

I fell in love with this card the instant I saw it in my first pack of m13. It's just one of those cards I always have a use for. Eye for an eye your opponent when they play removal, protect your cards from counters, or double your firepower for the turn. Good stuff.

It's also impossible to end unless someone counters one of the copies. Meaning for and two cards in hand, you can make the game a draw.
A cheap two card combo that makes you not lose on turn 4? It's worth something anyway.

You're playing an Izzet deck. You have Guttersnipe and Melek, Izzet paragon on the field. You play Lava Axe Reverbrate is on top of your library You cast Reverbrate from the top of your deck, copying Lava Axe, copy Reverbrate to Reverbrate from Melek's effect.... lava axe = 5 dmg, copied lave axe = 5, re-copied lava axe = 5, and 2 Reverbrate copies makes Guttersnipe do 10 dmg...overkill :D
