Should have just said "Opponents cannot play white or green enchantment spells". And even then it would be 4/5 tops.

I guess the general thought is that this card's ability would have been better, if it were and SPELLS, not just enchantments, that would cost more to cast.
To give Irini some credit though, she does offer some delay for opposing white and green decks, by making their Oblivion Ring and Detention Spheres cost more to cast. Tempered Steel and Ghostly Prison are also affected. As is Journey to Nowhere, Pacifism, Guard Duty, Rancor, and Asceticism. And also Mana Reflection and Mirari's wake. And let us not forget Sigil of the Empty Throne or Privileged Position. Or Blind Obedience, Angelic Destiny, Canopy Cover, Ethereal Armor/au... (see all)
