It's offensively defensive. I love it. Aside from the townsfolk part, its perfectly flavored, and could still be relevant if it were legal in any format besides vintage.

So the folk of An-Havva boost themselves up to 3/1 when they're seriously ***ed? Flavorwise, I would interpret this as the folk willingly getting themselves massacred, so long as the enemy dies also. This is a card that screams for first strike.
