EDIT; Nope, that doesn't work. It would have been really cool to cast Ancestral Vision for {1}{R} then for {3}{R} but apparently since it has no cost, you can't play it for {0} with the flashback.
If it said "converted mana cost" it would probably be different.

Sorceries are more powerful (not necessarily more useful) than instants. I think this card works fine, especially with Surreal Memoir now available.

It's not shit. You will almost always cast Gifts Ungiven on this and not Snapcaster.
The flashback on this card is what makes all the difference...

this is officially the wierdest card in MTG, flavorwise. Wait, what exactly am I doing again? I'm getting set to fix my stuff, so I can prepare to do it again? Am I actually doing anything?
This has gotta be the most complicated set of mechanics to represent 'stand still, do literally nothing, you need your rest' in the whole game :P
