Seems like this works on creatures w/shroud and prot. blue? Correct? Since you're targeting the player and not the creatures?

No this is just a bad card, any deck built around it would not be competitive, it costs way too
much, and even after the exchange, you may have better creatures, but they will have lots of
chump blockers. It may give you a mild advantage at best, and 6 mana could be used on superior cards.

I was just thinking about what it would take to make a good living weapon deck, when I stumbled upon this card, those germ tokens are likely going to do your opponent no good, but all their best creatures equiped with all that equipment... can't go wrong.

I was gonna make it a black deck but this exchange creatures thing I'm seeing in a few blue cards really appeals to me with this deck.

If you use lots of tokens, you might be better off cutting any real creature and using Mass Polymorph.

EDH: Trading my 0/1 plants and 1/1 creature tokens for dragons, demons and their general? I think we can make a deal... >:)

Are there any rulings regarding this card and how it works in regards to creature targeting in regards to the new illusions such as the Phantasmal Bear or Illusionary Servant? Would targeting say three such illusions allow you to gain control of three creatures an opponent controls even though you sacrificed yours, as they were in fact targeted by the spell?
