There seems to be a split on whether or not this card will work on shrouded or hexproof creatures. The card says "Choose any number of CREATURES target player CONTROLS" ..... I do not see where this spell targets the player, it merely pointed out to pick a player and choose 1 or more of his creatures and if one has to choose a creature for a spell or effect to take place then those creatures have been targeted by that spell or effect. It doesnt say "All creatures target player controls" it says choose and therefore those creatures are targeted for an effect therefore shroud and hexproof should apply and those creatures should be protected from Cultural exchange in my humble opinion.

I think the "target player" part between the words in ALL CAPS proves it does target the player. So, you can't cast this if there's a Witchbane Orb around.
It doesn't target the creatures, though, just like Clone, so you can have fun stealing your opp's Emrakul, the Aeons torn and Plated Slagwurms.

For anyone wondering, cards such as this that allow you to "choose" a creature does NOT mean you are targeting the creature. This means that you can indeed force a player (who is the actual target of the spell) to exchange their creatures with shroud and hexproof for other creatures, even "sacrifice when they become the target of a spell or ability" creatures such as Phantasmal Bear. Because you are simply CHOOSING them and not targeting the Bear simply finds himself under the control of another player.

Goblin Electromancer makes this card more desirable.

Fantastic card in EDH. My opponent's Arcanis deck managed to trade his lowly 2/2 for my enchanted Sigarda. That stung quite a bit.
