Weird little guy.
It looks aggressive with its mana cost. But early on its ability does rarely do anything. You might consider playing it in a mill deck, but a mill deck doesn't really need creatures. Then you might consider playing him in a multiplayer deck (what with more creature cards in graveyards), but there is no reason to play him over mortivore there. And in a combo deck, boneyard wurm is better. Not to mention that you never know to 100% how many creatures are in your opponents deck. It might be that this guy won't be more than a 1/1 throughout the entire game.

Built a modern deck, and this is the most beautiful thing ever. With Damnation, Mind Funeral, Glimpse the Unthinkable, Inquisition of Kozilek, along other cards, I have gotten this guy to be 18/18. Yeah, I like him. I also run Dark Confidants and Snapcaster Mages, wich work wonders with Immortal Servitude for 2. Call me crazy, but I like him over ol' Tarmagoyf

Eh, he wouldn't be too bad in an average Zombie deck. Only need one creature in an opponent's graveyard to be equal to a Walking Corpse, and he'll only get bigger.

Plus, he looks AWESOME.
