Too wonky a CMC @ the 4-slot to risk a re-cast by random draw. 1st 0.5/5 I've ever given because I got one of these piles.

this is a ton of fun. at fnm, i played three matches and played this during each one. revealing a land kills the build-up of suspense, but during one match i got my stormtide leviathan out on turn 5. in the right deck you cant go wrong..

What would happen if you cast this with no card in your library?

Clicking "random card" from this card always feels good.
On an unrelated note, I'm sure there's a hilarious way to combo this with Selective Memory to mill your entire deck.

Made a Simic deck with three of these to work with Incursion Specialist. Results as follows:
No Specialists on the board, sort of getting mana-screwed. I cast Unexpected Results and hit… Unexpected Results. : I start shuffling and say to my opponent “I bet you $10 I hit ‘Unexpected Results’ again.” Sure enough number three came up, to which I swore and shuffled and revealed again. I think I finally landed on Battering Krasis which failed to make a splash, but I think I won the game anyway. ‘Twas annoying.

For the most Unexpected of Results, run with a Possibility Storm before performing an Epic Experiment.

Embrace the random! I love this kind of card. Unexpected Results into Omniscience into Enter the Infinite, drop deck, everyone scoops, or into an Eldrazi. Or sit there an ineffectually flip over land the entire game. Can't win them all.

I like this card a lot. It helps me make a deck that I can stuff full of powerful cards and actually get a benefit from not having a lot of cheap cards. Either you play the card you want to ramp for, or you ramp for it next turn and keep the card. Woohoo!
