Simple, efficient workhorse. Hope I get a few of these in my pre-release box.

Not bad, but the battlion buff requires two other creatures to attack which is a big conditional. Unless you have tons of Boros weenies or a way to protect your battlion this card doesn't shine.

@Doaj: I like that play, but seems kind of tricky to have white turn 1 and suddenly have 2 red/green the second. Possible, but aggressive decks like that usually can't risk the mana base. I wouldn't mind waiting 1 more turn and playing Daring Skyjek and Skyknight Legionnaire before Rally the Peasants.

Nice to see Taylor Swift made it into the art of a Magic card.

Great card for a 4-turn win with Deviant Glee or Predator's Gambit.
T1: Plains, Boros Elite
T2: Swamp, Boros Elite, Glee/Gambit on first Boros Elite, swing for 3
T3: Boros Elite, Glee/Gambit on second Boros Elite, swing for 6
T4: Glee/Gambit on third Boros Elite, swing for 15

was uncertain about this card. Played it a few times and loved it. Stoked I picked up a Japanese foil of her too!

This card pretty much screams "white weenie". By itself, the 1/1 is as vanilla as you can get, but the battalion bonus is basically a freebie for weenie decks and with a Spear of Heliod out you suddenly have 4/4 attackers that costed 1 . Combine with Calvary Pegasus to make things better.
