There's, like, nothing in that artwork and it's still cool. Great choice for a reprint.

There's a very ominous feeling to this card....... but that won't stop me from getting my card advantage.

Huh, so that's where the flavor text from Ambition's Costcame from...

Strange how they dropped the name attached to the flavor text. Still, very cool reprint.

The artwork reminds me of the Mirari, sitting alone and forgotten amongst the decaying ruins of the civilization that tore itself apart for the artifact's power.

Awesome reprint and a powerful black card draw spell for EDH or casual play. Also, it was only Portal or Started before, so it was ridiculously hard to get one.

If I may say so, this is a very unexpected reprint.

@: Falviola if that's how you want to play black has Doom Blade. OF COURSE other colors do certain things more efficiently.

Wouldn't have minded seeing one in each of the duel decks. Tibalt's tends to run out of steam a bit quick for red. Might have been too expensive, but would have been cool for both Planeswalkers to share a common spell. Would fit both thematically, too.

Old art is generally really good. People just don't realise it from the old card frame (or if it's drawn by Ron Spencer...)
