I like its Black favour. It is made against its destiny enemy (Green and White). The evasion will enable the damage to get through the fatties, while the player will be defenseless with his suicide fighting technique.

Going straight into my modern zombie sideboard. Hits 'goyf, resto, finks, Melira, and more. And since my aether vial sits at 3 for my lords anyway, he might as well have flash. Great new zombie.

It's like Vendilion Clique, except nowhere near as good and also black.
It's still a very good card, though I don't think it will see play. At three mana, it comes down a turn later than Voice of Resurgence, which is certainly annoying. That said, it can still get rid of Thragtusk prior to rotation, so it may possibly see some play.
That said, it is my second favorite of the cycle, after Mindsparker.

As good as Vendilion Clique is, I think one should note that this often gives you a +1 card advantage, where Clique never does. Against the right deck, this is a Liliana's Specter with a better body and a better ability.

Solid sideboard, possible mainboard due to strong power cost ratio. I really like that they're bringing color hate again in a more prolific way. It felt to me like they laid off for awhile (maybe I'm wrong) but it's essential IMO to the game.

Well, he is a 3/1 intimidate for three. The average common/uncommon three power evasion guy costs five mana. So that's quite a deal.

The triggered ability is super narrow, but if it hits, it's obviously pretty good.

As often, it makes you realize how huge the power difference between the different rarities is. Compare this to Cyclops Tyrant from the same set. Both are 3 power evasive guys. This guy is rare, so he costs 3 and has an upside. The Tyrant is common, so it costs six and has an additional drawback.

Nice power on this guy. For a while I thought he only had 2, 3 really pushes him. Pretty strong!

This guy's pretty freaking awesome and should be in the mainboard in a lot of black decks. Even if your opponent isn't playing green or white, you still get a peek at their hand.

A close second in the enemy color hate creatures. This might be maindeckable in zombie decks against pretty much anything. It hits Junk, Jund, and Naya where it hurts.

I think this is possibly the best of the enemy-color hosers. It hits white and green where it hurts them the most: the creatures in their hand they haven't cast yet (and now never will). It's a strong, evasive attacker in a color where attacking for the win is actually a solid back-up plan in most cases. 3 power also trades with lots of things, so it works both ways.
