He's a late pick, but not to be underestimated in M14's limited. This guy got a lot of mileage when I got two of him, two Marauding Maulers, and two Advocate of the Beasts in my draft.

Outside of Limited, consider... well, anything else. Wolfbriar Elemental. Obstinate Baloth. Ravenous Baloth. Chameleon Colossus. Deadbridge Goliath (which, if I may add, is also Standard legal). Ezuri's Brigade. Tons of better options at 2GreenGreen. Still, in Limited, a double bear is good. 1.5/5 for having some use in my favorite format, but nowhere else.

I don't see why this card gets dissed so much, compared to (Canyon Minotaur, Armored Cancrix, or Pillarfield Ox, it's pretty solid. Yeah, a bit lackluster compared to the other Baloths, but he's not bad by any means.

My only dissappointment with wizards at the moment is that they passed up the opportunity for Baloth tribal.

@Syrtees: Baloths are part of the Beast tribe, which has Advocate of the Beast. So you can be disappointed no more.
