In Limited this thing is a beast. In Standard it's certainly worth thinking about if you're running Slivers. Beyond that... it's just too costly. +3/+3 is great and all but I'd rather more smaller, more versatile Slivers to a big fatty that's going to sit in my hand all game. By the time he gets out he's usually either redundant or he isn't boosting enough other creatures. Don't get me wrong, he has field presence and your opponent is going to notice when he hits the table, but I could just as easily play an Overrun and swing for the game.

Well, I wouldn't pute a full playset into a sliver deck, simply because you'd end up with huge clunky creatures on your starting hand that you can't play any time soon. But two or so are solid.

I seriously underestimated this. I tried it in my Sliver deck and it dropped just as my opponent (playing Selesnya Populate) started populating Wurms like they were Saprolings. This stopped him dead in his tracks.
I thought the cost may have been a bit too high but now I feel it's a trump card that all Slivers should consider.

Love it. Don't think of it as win more, think of it as win now! 4/5

Everyone hates slivers because of the fact that they are no longer squiggly lines. Lets see what we can do with these bad boys...
OK so first off, in standard you have to sliver one drops. The first is obvious.
Galerider Sliver will wreck face in against any deck, giving slivers flying. I assure you that Skylasher will be coming of of sideboard game 2.
OR
We could use Striking Sliver. It is a good one drop and will attract an early removal spell due to annoyance, making there be less removals in an opponenet's hand.
Next turn, Manaweft sliver. In my standard deck, I will always get it in my opening hand/first mull.
Pump out more slivers turn 3, then t4 we have this guy. Soar above opponent's creatures with Mr. Galerider. Protect with Rootborn Defenses(Hive Stirrings, anyone?) or Boros Charm from board wipes. Door of Destinies for extra boom.

Even this sliver falls to Nameless Inversion. Still this guy is REALLY powerful. Wow.

Seriously, did they just combine the words Mega and Gigantic to form a de***ion for this Sliver? Megantic doesn't mean anything in English. It is however an area in Quebec. I guess that's what good poutine does to slivers - https://www.google.com/search?q=megantic&oq=megantic&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l5.1712j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8#q=megantic+definition&revid=645471447
