Worked well for me at the pre-release. Was not hard to get creature advantage with three of these in my deck with cards like Doom Blade and Liturgy of Blood.

Solid little card.
Fantastic flavor text. Genuinely creepy.

Fantastic common, primarily for its instant speed. You can flash in a chump blocker, exile a creature they might reanimate, or exile a card that they were planning on scavenging. It is a great response card.

Do enjoy zombie cards that actually are flavored as reanimating something.

Opponent attacks, you doom blade one creature (the bigger one), exile it, and block/kill the smaller one.
Instant speed is neat for turning the board on it's head quickly.

Strictly worse than the M13 version because no sassy ghoulcallers in the flavor text.

In a terrible game at the pre-release I was totally manascrood on turn 3, I discarded my most expensive monster at end of turn, and in response to his next spell created a Zombie token, then he cast Claustrophobia on it... :-( flavorful

I'm gonna build a mono hand D deck, and I will have 4 of these in there. Gonna be sweet.

Anyone else notice that the symbol on the grave looks suspiciously like the Theros set symbol?

In legacy, you have two decks you KNOW you are going to have to beat: Show And Tell and Reanimator.
For *one mana*, this card can hose reanimator and give you a chump to boot.
"Swamp, go."
"Swamp, Dark Ritual, Entomb. Iona, Shield of Emeria goes to my graveyard. Exhume."
"Vile Rebirth. Exile Iona. 2/2 Zombie. My go?"
