Not as amazing as Consecrated Sphinx, but in EDH--which is the only place a card this expensive could reasonably be played, I think--its effect can be extremely powerful.

So we heard you like fliers, so we made a flier that gives you more fliers when it flies that will in turn give you more fliers.

Remember when Sphinxes were puzzly and interesting? They're all just degenerating into flying draw engines these days.

Decent in limited, like most bombs, but he won't be touched by a ten foot pole in constructed because of his high cmc.

Well, it's a multiplayer card I guess, mostly for EDH/Commander. The more players there are, the more likely someone is to attack with flyers.
The card itself is ok. Not awesome, not bad. Six mana would have worked too, I think.

For a mythic, it should really have a higher power. Still a great effect.

Why has no-one mentioned Warden of Evos Isle yet? A mono-blue or UW flying-tribal control deck might be cute and fun.

I use this in my Isperia the Inscrutable EDH deck. Fun times.

I really like this, but the way they make half the mythics way overpowered... this could benefit from 1 extra power, and still be slightly on the weak-side for a 7-drop.

I really enjoyed the flavor crossover with Warden of Evos Isle and Windreader. Not only do they create a flying tribal feel, but Warden references sphinxes as the rulers of Evos Isle, and Windreader really feels most mythic when it's three for a three seven with an awesome ability, as four Warden would make it.
