We survived Honor of the Pure into third turn Spectral Procession with Zealous Persecution and Thoughtseize support. You think we can't deal with a three-mana Anthem alongside real, singular creatures (as opposed to the 3-in-1 that's Spectral Procession)?
Edit: Also, seems like the No Mercy effect is offically white now. It was black up to Lorwyn (Dread), became Orzhov in Return to Ravnica block (Executioner's Swing, Teysa) and is now finally white. Tsk tsk white, beating even black in terms of mercilessness.

I like the flavor except that last line of flavor text. "even the depths of the underworld" really shouldn't be on a card that doesn't interact any way save beneficially with graveyards. Maybe exile? That way you could exile a card that dealt damage to you and died - making the flavor text relevant.
Still - good card.

"even in the depths of the Underworld"
Player 1: I swing at you with my Erebos, god of the dead
Player 2: I stab it with my spear!!!!
Erebos: Ow?

A Limited nightmare, if the board is at parity, this just reads "I win." You have to gain a crazy level of advantage to beat the spear and even then they just pick your best guys off one by one. Black gets no good removal in this set and white gets excellent recurring removal. Modern Magic sucks so very, very hard.

Meh, meh, again I say meh. Yeah, it's a good card, but it comes nowhere near the power of the whip or the bow.
