Since oracle says you still discard a card with this in play does that mean you still take 2 damage if an opponent has, say, a Megrim in play?

Library of Leng + Vampire Hounds is pretty much the worst combo I have ever heard of. You are guaranteeing that you will lose. Here is why: you will be turning every card you own into a dialed-down giant growth. Truly awful.

This card + vampire hounds + vampire nocturnus = guaranteed 6/5 flying hounds and 5/4 flying vampire nocturnus provided you "discarded" a black creature card.

"If you would discard a card, discard it", really, are you sure, I was guna put it into the trash, but If you say discard it, than so be it.

Funny wording aside, this card is kinda cool, but not terribly exciting.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned that this turns Faithless Looting into a weaker red version of Brainstorm. There's something to be said about hand and library manipulation in red.

this +Melek, Izzet Paragon and that cards that let you discard, you get to pick which cards are doubled
