Aside from Isamaru, Hound of Konda and Wild Mongrel, Hounds are surprisingly underwhelming so far in Magic.

It's an annoying pooch if your opponent is using it! That being said, it would be so much fun to use it against an Eldrazi!
BTW, why is it able to tap a flyer? The artwork shows the dog juping on a grounded person.

In limited, your opponent will be your b_tch. It'll be really ruff going for your opponent's fatties, leaving them to chase their tails.
(I really should leave the bad puns to LSV. But in all seriousness, it's a definite role player, even though the extra +1/+1 may not be worth the extra 3 mana over Gideon's Lawkeeper.)
