Combine with Reassembling Skeleton, Spark Elemental, Hellspark Elemental and similar cards for a nice punch on unearth or return. For even more fun combine similar cards and Lightning Coils to see the board wiped and you swinging 15+ depending on your field and unearth. It is an odd use but the few ways to avoid the downfalls of this card are to go with 1) hexproof/shroud, 2) have no creatures, 3) have creatures your opponent doesn't want to die and finally 4) to have creatures that can be returned from the graveyard.
