The guy coming out of the ground looks kind of like Starke. I doubt it is him, considering his eyes were cut out and he hadn't died yet, but that would be interesting nonetheless.

The errata made the sacrifice part of the cost, instead of part of the effect, as clearly printed on the card as happening after the damage is dealt.

To keep the card as close to it's written text as possible, this card should require the targeted creatue to remain on the battlefield while the spell resolves (and then demand the sacrifice). Making the card weaker shouldn't matter -- nobody plays the damn thing, anyway.

fling beats this, but soul's fire beats fling usually. This and fling are ment for, as the name of this card goes, the Final Strike. Souls fire sense it dosnt require saccing, can be simply used as a great burn spell.
