@ MidgetfaceKillah: The band Iron Maiden took its name from the object that the card Iron Maiden represents; the card was not named after the band. This card, on the other hand... probably was.
When they introduced the Defender mechanic, they retroactively applied it to all Walls. However, cards like this that refer to walls in this or a similar capacity were not upgraded to represent the change. This is not fair. There are very few Wall creatures produced anymore, so this card is dead in any relatively modernized deck. A card game should not render any of its cards dead for any reason.

i marvel at the iron will wizards demonstrated by not giving it funny flavour text.

Shouldn't be restricted to walls imho. Nullifying defender on all creatures would give johnnys another toy to play with. Also, it's best with wall of blood. Sure, it's risky, but it can kill any opponent with one attack as long as you got more life.

This is such a cool card. It makes defender decks easy to play with for only two many. Also the artwork and name are great flavor.

Wonder how it feels to be one?

One of the many cards named after a rock band, along with the likes of Iron Maiden.
Works wonders for a fun deck with Illussionary Wall, Stoic Ephemera, Cinder Wall, Shifting Wall.
Wakestone Gargoyle has a similar effect.

What a wasted opportunity. None of the versions of this card have Rolling Stones lyrics as flavour text? Not even a vague reference? Something about "satisfaction", or painting the walls black? No mention of a beat of burden or a nervous breakdown or anything?
You dropped the ball on this one Wizards.
