So good, it's almost broken. Especially in multiplayer, where you have the time to build a bigger army in the first place.

Tokens DO activate battlefield to graveyard effects.
The thing is tokens get removed from the game as a state based action, so many people get it mistaken as not even hitting the graveyard. In reality a token should be moved to the graveyard, then immediately removed from the game; so an acceptable shortcut is to just remove them from the game. This action, however, confuses some people.

No doubt. I couldn't figure out why Dragon Appeasement had such a ridiculous cost when Fecundity existed already. That is... until the Eldrazi Spawn were created. If this was legal outside of Vintage, it would probably be unbalanced.
I have been trying to find cool Fecundity interactions for casual decks for years. The problem has always been (1) making lots of creatures to sacrifice AND (2) having a good "sacrifice outlet" in play. Eldrazi Spawn solve both at once.

fecundity is worth splashing green for in a goblin deck because of how glorious it is with skirk prospector. Use rituals (rite of flame, seething song) and empty the warrens to draw your deck. From there, something for haste (goblin warchief, goblin chieftain, goblin bushwhacker) or just grapeshot to take the game.

i was just about to asked about this, ok so i have some friends that are pretty skilled players and they tell me that tokens wont activate this, which i thought was stupid, plus i was a vid on youtube about this deck and it was one of the top ten in 2006 or 8, how could it place so high if it didn't work like that???
i just wont to get the skinny on it, so i guess my question is: Do tokens active graveyard triggers even though they cease to be once they hit the Gravyard?

Yep, it works on tokens. Now, what I'd like to know is whether or not it works on non-creature cards which were creatures at the time they left play. Things like Ghitu Encampment and the other "man-lands". An what about enchantments animated by Opalescence?
My immediate reaction is no, but I've been wrong before.

Great with mortuary because the whenever you lose a creature it comes back into your hand. Used with a ornithopter or myr moonvessel sacrificed to ashnod's altar gives infinite mana!!! Add desciple of the vault and all your opponents die in one turn.
