This and Sorin's Vengeance is a blast in multiplayer. Let your friends know that the first one to draw aggro from you is getting blasted by it.

@Tsuichoi

With Time Reversal this card makes a copy that would exile itself at end of turn. Not that that really matters seeing as the copy would cease to exist regardless after its effect hit the field anyway. The only difference between a copy of Time Reversal and lets say Timetwister is that Time Reversal never hits the graveyard. So graveyard effects don't trigger from Time Reversal. While they still would from Timetwister. Once Timetwister would hit the graveyard though effects that work on a spell hitting the graveyard would still trigger before the copy would cease to exist.

But I think what you really want to know is how Time Reversal works with this. And the answer to that is, just like any other card. Because it says You may copy one of the imprinted cards the fact that the copy exiles itself doesn't have an effect with the card except when you are dealing with graveyard triggers.

I hope this helped you and I hope it wasn't ... (see all)

Awesome with any of the no cost suspend spells. Hypergenesis every turn? Followed by Wheel of Fate? All just by tapping the mirror as soon as it hits the board, and stamping both if you can untap it.

Too bad it's banned from EDH, otherwise Riku players would have epic time with Research and Mycosynth Lattice.

@Tsuichoi: When the copy of Time Reversal resolves, everybody shuffles and redraws their hand, and the copy of Time Reversal is exiled, not the spell imprinted on the mirror. This occurs every turn, and would be incredibly fun in a giant group EDH game to get people on your side

To everyone saying "imprint an exra turn spell and let it survive till your upkeep" you realize you can just imprint the "Time Warp" spell in response to it's ability going on the stack during your upkeep right? You know. Instead of it just sitting there with your time warp already exiled.

@JarieSuicune

Every card has a converted mana cost. If it's one of the Time Spiral suspend cards (like Ancestral Vision) or Evermind, then the converted mana cost is zero, even though the card doesn't have an actual mana cost. If the mana cost includes X, X is zero. You've always been able to specifiy zero for an X, so unless the card says X can't be zero, it can. The card doesn't say X cannot be zero.

All the sorcery cards that give you an extra turn are good at this.
