It would be awesome of it wasn't discard, but put cards from the top of their library. I know that would be extremely OP in a mill deck, but it would make a draw strategy with Jace's Erasure. Essentially, whoever has the most cards left in their deck would win.

But still, this card is okay, I mean it isn't 5/5 because it doesn't work that well for milling, but you can still combo this with other cards like Jace's Erasure (They discard a card, you draw a card, they mill a card from their library). You can add Bloodchief Ascension and have the game in the bag.

I'm not too certain about this card. Successful discard deck would empty/lower opponent's hand fairly quickly, and this artifact requires an opponent to actually discard a card to trigger. With that said, 4 mana seems a little slow for such decks.

Windfall or Winds of Change for the whoomph of it.

This + Words of Waste is a soft lock for 2 per turn. On their turn, pay 1 to replace the card you'd draw from Grimoire with a discard. On your turn, pay 1 to replace your draw-step draw with a discard. They draw one, discard two, and thus can't keep up. Once they're down to an empty hand, draw during your draw step normally, and keep spending the 1 on their turn. When you can, play Nether Void to ensure they can't play any instants they draw.

Use with something like Plague Boiler to wipe stuff already on the battlefield.

Grimoires are an inefficient method of data storage. Geth do not use them.

Meh. I've played with it and I was never happy to see it. By the time I managed to get it into play I'd already gotten all the cards in my opponent's hand... I'm thinking I'll do removal instead. Or Sangromancer Worst case you have a 3/3 creature. Best case, you gain nine life and user her as a possible win condition.
