And then Invisible Stalker came along and not only stole his thunder but also p***ed off everyone who had to deal with stupid hexproof. Oh well, he's still a pirate at least.

Regarding Invisible Stalker, I think that Hexproof, like Indestructible, bring too much non-interactive play in the game, that can be quite unfunny... I hope that R&D knows what they're doing...
This card, I don't own it, but I perfectly recall when I opened a Phantom Warrior in a Weatherlight pack, and I was like "What the f**k!", in a positive way, and then I thought a little something like "But this wouldn't be too much non-interactive?". The irony... However, this is one of my favourite blue creature of all times! I won a 9th Edition Draft, at the pre-release, enchanting the Phantom Warrior with Spirit Link, along with Serra Angel and Icy Manipulator. It was one of my most successful pre-release, and I won 9 9th edition pack, one for each language Magic was translated into. It was glorious!
And about the Pirate tribe, I wonder why R&D didn't bring it back during Zendikar block... (see all)

Of all sets, the printed text of a card from Portal now so happens to use the exact Oracle wording.

The man in the middle has larger breasts than the woman on the left.

Those are some serious man-cans on the male pirate.
