I'll never be tired of use 4 copies of this with 4 Black Lotus, 4 Ancestrall Recall and 4 Mox Sapphire in my MUC on the old MTG Shandalar PC Game XD (I wish I have them on real but I'm too younger for that).

Once power creep catches up, people will be ignoring this card (which will be a common in newer sets) for Time Sprint, which will cost U for two turns at instant speed. Also one-drops will be 6/6. This is THE FUTURE. You should know that after using this card.
@scu.mbling: On a more serious note, I totally agree. That sounds like what they wanted back then. So yes, don't consider this a "balanced" card.

"I take another turn"...isn't is really so much strong? Yeah few times it means only "I draw a card and I put a land into play"...but however not bad thing!
Usually it means really GOOD things...^_^

Meh. There is another card that gives you an extra "turn" for 
and sorcery speed. It even costs like 5 cents... and this card... well...
But seriously, obviously bonkers and I actually like the art too. The weird modern arty feel of some of the early magic cards is interesting in its own right. This card mostly combos with disposable income, or getting into Magic really early.

@scumbling1: IIRC the idea was that ante would balance out high-powered cards like this or Black Lotus; if you used them in your deck, eventually you'd ante them and lose them. The intention was that cards would end up moving around circles of players so everyone would get a chance to use them, and people would naturally balance cards themselves by avoiding using ones that were "too awesome to use."
Of course, nobody ever played for ante, so it didn't work.
