In my opinion, this is the best card (that is legal in at least one format) in the history of the game.

Ok. Who rated this less then a 5? This is one of the most broken cards in MtG History and Sol RIng is rated higher than it!?!?!?!?! (Not that i have anything against Sol Ring; which is also broken)

Black Lotus is the best card in the game because it essentially reads "0: you win the game". Nothing is ever going to beat that...not even time walk here, which is the second best card in the game.
Iconic art, too. There's something very dreamlike about it and it's totally nostalgic.
