Unless you're comboing with enter-the-battlefield effect creatures... Just play Rorix Bladewing or something.

Works well with Singe-Mind Ogre.

Those of you that call this a downside- you don't get it. This cycle (Eiganjo Freeriders, Trusted Advisor, Skull Collector, this and Stampeding Serow) is not plagued by downside. Returning a creature to your hand is really awesome, if say, you return Avalanche Riders, Anarchist or Stingscourger.
I do wish this one didn't cost 6, but he's got a one up on the rest of his cycle- if, god forbid, some smartass kills every other creature so he'll have to bounce himself (as a frequent user of Stampeding Serow and Eiganjo Freeriders, I am familiar with this d-baggery), he can be put right back out and attack again. Not to mention, his cost is almost completely colorless. If you find some way to reduce his cost (say like Ruby Medallion) and he starts looking not-so-bad. Besides, if you're abusing ETB triggers, you'll want to reduce costs as opposed... (see all)

He's a reusable Lava Axe and just as colorless. Fact is you can drop this T4 and every turn after with just Cloudpost, Glimmerpost, Glimmerpost, Mountain.
In a red cloudpost deck outfitted with the requisite Flailing creatures you should be able to do plenty. Color light creatures are meant for their color-lightness to be abused; be it in multicolor, colorless production, or something else.
If you want to compare him to Inferno Titan, go ahead! But you're missing the fact that it's far far harder to get {R}{R} in those other decks and that this is abusable with ETB/LTB effects.

Nobody has mentioned Avalanche Riders or Ghitu Slinger yet?
